Does Our Moon Have a Magnetic Shield?

The moon was formed about 4.5 billion years ago, from material ejected into orbit after the collision of the Earth with a massive celestial body. At first, the satellite was molten and had its own magnetic shield, traces of which can be found today in local minerals.
