President Obama’s former campaign pilot, Andy Danziger, described during an interview a UFO he had encountered while co-piloting a flight from Kansas to Iowa in April 1989.
Danziger retold the events that took place in 1989 on the FOX & Friends show (click here for the video), where the pilot had the opportunity to speak out freely about what he had seen and witnessed, now when UFOs are no longer a taboo or subject of ridicule in the media.
When the presenter asked the former pilot why it took him so long to talk about what had happened, he replied that there were no formal procedures for reporting UFO sightings back then. Instead, people were ridiculed if they spoke about them, so pilots chose not to risk their careers by telling their stories.
“We were flying from Kansas City to Waterloo, Iowa. I was just the first officer on this regional airline turboprop plane. The skies were clear, and the weather forecast indicated that the weather was going to stay that way on our arrival at our destination,” Danziger said.
“We reached cruising altitude at 15,000 feet, surrounded by thin clouds. That’s when I noticed to my right—I was in the right seat—a white disc barely visible behind the clouds. It was a bit weird, but we’re used to seeing a lot of things in the sky, so when you see something unusual, you start looking for an explanation for what it is,” he continued.
“The first thing I thought was that it was the Moon because it looked like it could be the dimly visible Moon. But the Moon was on the other side and a crescent Moon, not full. So it couldn’t be a reflection of the Moon.”

The pilot assures that this object followed them or at least kept pace with the plane, accompanying it.
The most surprising part, however, would come after 40 minutes of flight.
All of a sudden, the object that had been following the airplane changed shape.
“During our descent over Waterloo, we looked up and saw what appeared to be a giant red sphere above the clouds,” Danziger, who does not know if anyone else apart from the captain who accompanied him in the cabin saw it, said during the interview.
Many such UFO sightings from the past have gone unnoticed, mainly because the pilots who encountered the objects were afraid of being brandished crazy if they decided to speak out about what they had seen.
However, things have drastically changed today, and UFOs are no longer a conspiracy.
The UFO phenomenon has become so popular that scientists are now studying it. In addition, space Agencies have created specific groups whose goal is to crack the mystery behind UFOs, and governments have created dedicated offices to get to the bottom of what these objects are.
The Pentagon, for example, recently re-branded its UFO hunting office and expanded it to study so-called “transmedium UFOs.”
