It is only a matter of time before we discover Aliens.

NASA Scientist Says Some UFO Sightings Can’t be Explained, and Aliens may have Visited us Already

The truth is out there, or at least so they say.

UFO sightings have become popular, with people regularly reporting mysterious lights and objects in the sky. While many incidents can be attributed to weather phenomena or aircraft, some sightings defy explanation and remain unidentified. And as we continue attempting to understand what UFOs are, a NASA scientist says that some UFO sightings can’t be explained, and aliens may have visited us already.

Scientific Community’s Disregard for UFO Phenomena

A NASA scientist, Professor Silvano Colombano, recently criticized fellow experts for ignoring the relevance of UFOs in a published paper. He argues that not every UFO sighting can be explained or denied and that the scientific community should pay more attention to the phenomenon. Colombano reveals that advanced aliens may have already visited our planet, potentially unnoticed due to their different appearances and incomprehensible technology.

Colombano explains that SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) has officially ignored UFO phenomena for three reasons: 1) the assumption of an extremely low likelihood of interstellar travel, 2) the high likelihood of hoaxes, mistaken perceptions, or even psychotic events in UFO phenomena, and 3) the general avoidance of the subject by the scientific community.

The professor suggests adopting a new approach similar to SETI: finding the signal in the noise. Amid the vast amount of “noise” in UFO reporting, there may be “signals” indicating unexplained phenomena. By adopting new assumptions about higher intelligence and technology, serious inquiries could be launched into these phenomena.

“I simply want to point out that the intelligence we might find and that might choose to find us (if it hasn’t already) might not be produced by carbon-based organisms like us,” explained Colombano, of NASA’s Ames Research Center.

Challenging Our Limitations and Exploring New Possibilities

To understand UFOs and the possibilities of alien life, scientists must move beyond the limitations of modern human technology and consider the possibility of technologically advanced aliens originating from planets older than Earth. “We need to re-visit even our most cherished assumptions,” including that “interstellar travel is impossible or highly unlikely,” Colombano said.

In his paper, titled “New Assumptions to Guide SETI Research,” Colombano emphasizes the importance of considering how technology might evolve over millions of years and what type of society advanced extraterrestrial beings could form. “We need to become more flexible in our assumptions,” he urged, encouraging further exploration into the subject of alien life and technology.
