Vangeliya Pandeva Dimitrova, better known as Baba Vanga, is a Bulgarian prophet who reportedly foresaw numerous future predictions with a scary 80% accuracy.
Known as the Blind Mystic, Baba Vanga was a clairvoyant and healer. She obtained her powers when she became blind. It is claimed that young Vangeliya Dimitrova was thrown into the air in a nearby field during a terrible storm. After a long search, the young, frightened girl was found, her eyes covered in dirt and dust.
Baba Vanga was unable to open her eyes, and due to the injuries she had sustained, she suffered a gradual loss of sight. Baba Vanga attracted attention during World War II due to her ability to heal.
This led to a number of people visiting her, but also hoping to find out about the whereabouts of their relatives lost to the war. As Baba Vanga was considered a seer, many people visited her, trying to find their closest relatives. Such was her fame at the time that in 1942 the Bulgarian tzar Boris III visited her.
The Curious Predictions of Baba Vanga
After the Second World War ended, numerous leaders and politicians continued visiting the Bulgarian Prophet, seeking answers and predictions of the future.
Her Visions of the Future
Many websites have mistakenly reported recently that Vanga had authored numerous prophecies. While she may have seen visions of the future, she was semi-literate and did NOT write any texts alone. Her alleged prophecies were penned down by people close to her.
Most of her ‘modern’ prophecies can be traced back to one single source a book titled: “The Weiser Field Guide to the Paranormal: Abductions, Apparitions, ESP, Synchronicity, and More Unexplained Phenomena from Other Realms.”
In the book, it is claimed that Baba Vanga accurately predicted the break-up of the Soviet Union, the death of Soviet leader Stalin, the disaster of Chornobyl, but also the tragic sinking of the submarine Kursk:
At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it.
Baba Vanga also predicted the September 11 attacks:
Horror, horror! The American brothers will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing. — Predicted in 1989 by Baba Vanga
The date on which the world will end
One of the most terrifying predictions of the future made by Baba Vanga is the date on which the world will end. But fear not, as the Express reveals, the world’s end will not occur until the 51st century and the year 5079. However, Vanga, who died aged 86 in 1996, did not say exactly how the world would come to an end.
But before the world ended in the 51st century, Vanga foresaw that the 44th President of the U.S.A. would become the country’s last Commander-in-chief. Even though President Trump was inaugurated in 2017, debunking the prediction, technically speaking, Trump was the 44th person to occupy the office. Grover Cleveland occupied the 22nd and 24th presidencies.
More Vanga prophecies
In addition to speaking about the end of times and the presidency of the United States of America, Baba Vanga is thought to have predicted mysterious entities known as shadow people, as well as extraterrestrials which Baba Vanga supposedly called the Dijnns.
Bulgarian scientists supposedly studied Baba Vanga’s capabilities to predict the future. According to Jeffrey Mishlove, some of the studies concluded that about 80% of predictions of Baba Vanga turned out to be accurate.
Numerous of her alleged predictions appear every year. News outlets from around the world present each year new prophecies that Baba Vanga supposedly foresaw more than 20 years ago.
News.co.au published a few years ago how Baba Vanga allegedly predicted how the ‘Great Muslim War‘ would break out in Syria and would culminate in the control of Europe by the year 2043.
