Located some six miles southwest of Alamogordo, New Mexico, is the Holloman Air Force Base. Established in 1942, this United States Air Force Base is home to many secrets. In 1971, a person filmed a mysterious metallic object, described as being extremely bright, landing at the base. The object was described as very bright and metallic in nature. It lacked the typical components associated with helicopters or other aircraft.
But the landing was not the most sensational part of the story. In fact, eyewitnesses who saw the event unfold and who remain unnamed to this day still stick to their stories. The people who saw the UFO land say that prior to descending, the object was having issues staying in the air. Eventually, it made a landing. Soon after the UFO had landed, Air Force vehicles approached the object. The eyewitnesses recall having observed three humanoid figures in metallic jumpsuits and full communication gear disembark from the UFO.
A UFO landing?
The eyewitnesses claim that the three humanoids that exited the UFO began communicating with the Air Force Officers and that an entire video of the event exists. Obviously, as with many other alleged UFO videos, this, too, remains classified and far from the public. Although the entire video of the alleged event remains a secret, in 1971, writer Rover Emenegger obtained 8 seconds of the footage.
Emenegger was supposed to produce a documentary about unidentified flying objects using materials gathered by the Department of Defense and NASA. At the time, Emenegger was promised footage of the entire event but only received eight seconds. The video footage shows a metallic object slowly descending to the surface. You can watch the video, as well as a small interview with Emenegger, here. In the interview, he describes the event, the object in question, and what had been filmed.
