The origin of the object remains unknown.
The Black Vault has filed thousands of FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests in recent decades. This has resulted in the declassification of more than 2 million CIA documents, available on their official platform.
In an article by the founder John Greenewald, he addressed a single declassified document referring to the recovery and exploitation of a metallic fragment from a UFO from the 1960s.
The document in question has been available for decades which means that it is nothing new but with more than 2 million pages on the platform, it is understandable how a certain piece could be forgotten for years.
Unfortunately, the declassified document is in terrible condition and much of the printed text and images are hard to read.
According to the CIA, this is the only version of the document they have (which sounds unlikely) which has been clearly indicated by a stamp saying “Poor Original.” Nevertheless, with some effort, it is possible to read it for the most part. The entire PDF file with the document is available HERE.
The declassified CIA report discusses the retrieval of a UFO fragment from the Republic of the Congo. This event took place on May 4, 1966, and the document clearly states that the origin of the debris is unknown. The CIA did not mention aliens, but instead, what’s written on the document states “Country unidentified”.
What this means is that the CIA believes the UFO fragment was artificial and came from Earth. What they found out was that the metallic fragment must have been part of an electrical component of some sort.
Of course, the simple fact that the CIA could not identify it with anything known suggests that it could potentially be something more significant. What are the chances that no expert has seen a similar component on Earth?
On the other hand, when experts studied the UFO fragment, they deduced that it must have been exposed to extreme temperatures. Since the document is tough to read, it is almost impossible to understand the numbers written on the page. According to John Greenewald, it states 2800 degrees F. This is another part of the document that is open for interpretation, maybe you can see a different number.
Furthermore, the CIA was good enough to provide us with the chemical composition of the UFO fragment although the condition of the document prevents us from seeing the actual figures. Although the origin remained a mystery, they were able to analyze and show what it was made of. The list of elements is long as you can see but some of the most notable ones include Carbon, Silicone, Manganese, etc.
The declassified document also includes several pages of photographs of the UFO fragment which, unfortunately, are absolutely invisible to us. The quality of the print is so terrible that it is impossible to get a good idea of the actual object. Nevertheless, we see that it was incredibly small based on the addition of a ruler in the images. Judging by what is partially visible, the UFO fragment was not bigger than 2 centimeters and to me personally, it seems that it has a round shape.
This declassified document clearly states that the CIA possesses at least one such object from a UFO but we all know that there certainly are many more, likely thousands. In a recent video on the topic, the founder and owner of the Black Vault stated that he will soon be addressing other similar cases.
We should appreciate the tireless effort and the countless FOIA requests being made in order for us to learn such long-kept secrets. If such cases are your interest, visit the official website of the Black Vault and you are guaranteed to spend hours looking at incredible declassified files addressing things you wouldn’t else believe.
